Benesse High School is a correspondence high school support institution operated by Benesse, where learning is designed starting from each student’s “unique identity.”
Among these, the “Special Club Activities” program involves collaborating with companies on real-world projects, providing students with an environment close to the real world where they can test their interests and strengths.
As part of this initiative, a documentary video has been released featuring students taking on a live music project with YAMAHA and a competition project with SEGA XD. IN FOCUS was in charge of the planning and production of the video.
Through the students’ process of engaging directly with leading companies, experimenting, and refining their ideas, the video portrays a new model of education that goes beyond conventional schooling.
By capturing their natural expressions and emotional shifts, and weaving together interviews with everyday scenes, the documentary carefully traces their journey from focused determination to a sense of accomplishment.
The video embodies Benesse High School’s educational philosophy, “BE YOU. BECOME MORE.” while visualizing the potential of education shaped through corporate co-creation.
