In July 2025, “GORA KADAN FUJI” opened at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Subashiri. Developed by the esteemed Hakone ryokan “Gora Kadan,” this new resort is an intimate retreat facing Mt. Fuji, where nature, harmony, and heritage unite, immersing guests in nature’s quiet, living presence. It stands as one of the closest high-end hotels to the sacred peak, designed as a wellness sanctuary that harmoniously blends tradition and refined tranquility.
IN FOCUS was in charge of producing the concept movie and the brand website.
The film captures the untouched natural environment surrounding Mt. Fuji, its overwhelming grandeur, and the refined elegance found throughout the resort.
The website reflects the serene flow of time and the atmosphere of understated luxury through a refined layout with generous white space and smooth interactions.
Additionally, all website text was crafted bilingually (Japanese/English) to fully convey the resort’s concept and ambiance to an international audience.
We sought to shape and express the world of “GORA KADAN FUJI” to offer guests a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
